South African Housing Market

While the US property market is looking quite dismal – there is the South African housing market which is also experiencing a downward spiral  – in this country however, buying property wouldn’t be so bad as the experts say it’s not a recession but rather a normalization of house prices. MONEYWEEK states that even though most experts are saying stay clear of the property market, it would be a big mistake to do so. So here is their take on the subject

    I think the market will recover early next year.


  3. southafrica property market is in a mess.
    our estate agent has gone out of business, wont even bother collecting rent on our behalf.
    we bought this bungalow in capetown, nice place etc but renting it for a massive loss swimmingpool and all.
    dont buy anything in SA keep your money.
    the citizens are running away bcse of crime, investors from abroad are broke.
    world cup? I dont think it will change anything mate.
