Obama

March 5, 2008

receptionists_sekumiya_hotel_obama_fukui_.jpgObama the new brand? While watching the Reuters feed yesterday, I saw some Japanese footage, where people were making Obama chopsticks, fried cakes, games, even an Obama Elementary Schl! Talk about popularity! This is a picture of a couple of receptionists at the Sekumiya Hotel. Doesn’t he want to  run for president in Japan??????

JUST THROWING IT OUT THERE…..

Ok, so there’s a place in Japan called Obama – and they’re using him as their main drive to boost tourism - targeting Pro-Obama Americans.

(And I’m sure the schl has been there a while – named after the city…)

Despite Hillary’s wins, he is still in the lead with delegates—it’s just a bit tougher than what it could’ve been. The Dem’s can’t make up their minds….

In contrast, Obama defeated Clinton among men by 2 points (50 percent to 48 percent); young voters broke in his favor by 16 points (58 percent to 42 percent); and college graduates favored him by 11 points (54 percent to 43 percent) – CNN“.

Watchdogs!

March 5, 2008

watchdog.jpgThank goodness for watchdogs!!! Read an article in The Times about some very dangerous merchandise that was about to enter our market – but thanks to SABS [South African Bureau of Standards] those baddies are disposed of.

Some of them were; “Explosive cigarette lighters, child car seats without safety certifications and motorcycle helmets that are more useful left behind ” -THE TIMES .

But I’m sure some things still get to seep into the black market unfortunately – I mean, imagine the damage any one of these goods will have? It’s crazy what people do 4 a buck.
